After long-term development, metal sawing machines have derived many varieties, including three main types: circular sawing machines, band sawing machines and bow sawing machines. Wecon's metal sawing machine equipment program is mainly used for band sawing machines.

Metal band sawing machine

1. The metal band saw blade is tensioned on the active saw disk and the driven saw disk by a hydraulic tensioning device, and the metal band saw blade is driven to move by the friction between the saw disk and the band saw blade.

2. Both the active saw disc and the driven saw disc are installed on the saw frame, and the valve-controlled hydraulic cylinder of the feeding device moves to realize the feeding movement.

3. The continuous sawing movement of the band sawing machine is realized through the combination of the movement of the saw blade and the feed movement of the feed hydraulic cylinder.


Industry issues

In order to ensure reasonable wear of the saw band and smooth cutting surface, the sawing speed of the band sawing machine is usually slow and the sawing efficiency is low.

Wecon's metal band sawing machine solution is automatically controlled by Wecon LX3V series PLC, and it will automatically return to the upper position after sawing. It will save a lot of time during the automatic cycle to improve the work efficiency.

At the same time, Wecon's HMI has functions such as installment payment and data encryption to ensure the safe and stable operation of the equipment.

2. Automatic feeding

Using Wecon LX3V series PLC control system, we could set one or more sets of data for continuous cutting and automatic feeding. Compared with the traditional cutting method, it is more intelligent, convenient, and cost-effective. Also it can avoid the safety risk of manual feeding.

3. Precise control

This solution uses a grating ruler to control the feeding length, and the error is accurately controlled at about 0.2mm.
