Application of VB in Automatic Winding Inspection Machine

1. Industrial Overview

The glass fiber felt is made of chopped strands of glass fiber strands, which are randomly and uniformly distributed into continuous glass fiber paper sheets by the papermaking method, and are bonded with emulsion. Its main properties and characteristics: chemical corrosion resistance, fire resistance, flame retardant, waterproof, aging resistance, weather resistance, insulation and other characteristics. It is widely used as FRP base cloth, anti-corrosion, thermal insulation, fire-retardant, waterproof material, epoxy copper-clad laminate and electrical insulation products.

2. Working Principle

Glass fiber felt automatic winding inspection machine is composed of touch screen, VFD, meter counter, unwinding shaft, front backlight, reverse backlight, feeding motor, feeding bearing, winding motor and winding bearing.

After the glass fiber felt is unrolled, through the unwinding bearing, the front backlight and the rear backlight, and an operator checks the front and back of the glass fiber felt in front of the front backlight and the rear backlight, to check the correctness of the fiberglass mat. Check whether there is any debris on the reverse side, and clean up the debris. If there are too many debris, it will stop at any time to clean the glass fiber felt.

5. Solution Features

1. The low-frequency torque of the VB VFD is large. When the winding diameter on the winding side becomes larger, the winding motor needs to run at a low frequency to decelerate. The running current is small, the motor runs smoothly, and there is no jam phenomenon, ensuring the same tightness of the winding.

2. Two VB VFDs are used as the first VFD starts the second VFD through the relay output. The touch screen gives the analog signal of the two VFDs at the same time, so that the two VFDs can run at the same frequency at the same time. Ensure that the two VFDs run synchronously.

3. The overload and overcurrent protection functions of the VB VFD can effectively protect the motor, making the equipment run smoothly, rotate smoothly, and prolong the service life of the equipment.
