The global furniture painting industry has grown steadily in recent years, driven by the expansion of furniture manufacturing and rising consumer demand for aesthetics. In China, growth has been particularly strong in hubs like Guangdong and Zhejiang, with increasing numbers of companies and continuous improvements in product quality and technology.
Technological innovation and environmental transformation are now the two main drivers. On one hand, companies are adopting automated and intelligent spraying technologies to improve efficiency and precision. On the other, stricter environmental regulations are pushing the industry to use eco-friendly coatings and reduce emissions, helping lower environmental risks and boost market competitiveness.
In paint shops, clean air and proper ventilation are fundamental requirements for perfect paint finishes and a safe working environment. This requirement applies to all types of painting systems, such as professional paint shops, paint booths, and spray stations in automotive or furniture workshops. Custom-designed fans can typically be installed in various locations as exhaust, recirculation, and supply fans, such as in rooms, walls, or independent filter and extraction systems. VFDs, as an essential component of the ventilation system, not only adjust fan speed in real time according to various operating conditions and control requirements, but also receive and output various signals, allowing users to intuitively operate and monitor the system.

The PLC outputs a 0-10V analog signal to the VFD in real time based on on-site conditions, such as the concentration of paint evaporation in the air, temperature, and humidity, to adjust the fan speed. This achieves precise control while also making the system more energy-efficient.
The VB features a built-in speed tracking function. Even if the fan is still running when the VFD starts, it can automatically track the fan's real-time speed and operate synchronously, avoiding overvoltage faults caused by the motor charging the frequency converter in reverse. Simultaneously, the VFD's soft-start function effectively reduces starting current, preventing impact on the power grid.
The VB has built-in comprehensive protection and relay terminals. When the system operates abnormally, it can provide fault alarms and output signals to the host device, ensuring that operators can troubleshoot faults promptly and extending the system's service life.
